This Wednesday, 30th of April, MEMSYS had the pleasure of participating in the annual Connect Event organized by Dispuut Taylor at TU Delft’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
This event provided a valuable opportunity for us to showcase who we are, what we do, and how students can get involved with MEMSYS through internships, graduation projects, and explore potential career paths. During the company pitch session, our CEO/CTO Thijs Blad delivered an inspiring presentation about the origins of MEMSYS following his PhD, sharing the company’s vision and offering insight into our ongoing projects and challenges.
After the presentations, we welcomed students to our booth during the networking fair. It was inspiring to connect with so many curious and motivated students, many of whom came prepared with thoughtful questions and a genuine interest in applying their knowledge in real-world contexts. Whether discussing system dynamics, our prototype design, or advanced modeling, the level of engagement reaffirmed the value of events like this.
For MEMSYS, the Connect Event was a great success, the students’ enthusiasm for our vision and the overwhelmingly positive response to our presentation made us proud if what we have achieved, and more excited for what lies ahead.
It is always a pleasure to meet likeminded individuals within the TU Delft community and to contribute to the professional growth of future engineers.
We look forward to staying in touch with the students we met and hopefully welcoming some of them into our team in the near future.
