MEMSYS is a young tech company located in Delft, the Netherlands. Founded as a spin-off from Delft University of Technology, today it is home to a diverse, motived, multi-skilled group of energy enthusiasts. Our mission

Back in the day, we used discardable batteries to keep our devices running, and you had to replace them every few years.

At MEMSYS, we think this will be the story we’ll be telling our grandchildren. We believe ambient energy harvesting technology is an essential component in advancing our world into a safer, cleaner and more efficient future. Solar panels and wind turbines, the most established and well-known ambient energy harvesters, are positioned to deliver a significant portion of the energy needed to power the world. We see it as our mission to work on the next step, which is to power the billions of wireless devices that don’t have access to such sources, but instead rely on the soon-to-become legacy technology: discardable batteries.
