Initial Field Test of the 2025Q1 MEMSYS Prototype

Following the launch of our Prototype, the natural next step was to conduct an initial field test. We attached our vibration energy harvester into a functioning pump system to evaluate its real-world performance. This setup allows us to closely monitor how much power the device can generate under operational conditions, providing critical data to guide further development and optimisation for the next prototypes.
A big thank you to Roel Laponder and Waterschap Rivierenland for their collaboration and for generously providing access to their facilities for this phase of testing.

The field test was a success, we are pleased with how the Prototype performed. As shown at the second picture, the unit was deployed in one of the placements- outdoors and exposed to the elements- demonstrating its robustness and reliability in real-world conditions.
