In November something very special happened: world’s first fully self-powered industrial vibration sensor has sent first data! MEMSYS Engineers have been working extremely hard to complete this internal, but highly significant milestone.
The vibration sensor is powered by MEMSYS Quartz Energy Harvesting technology. MEMSYS Quartz allows the sensor to operate completely independent of batteries, without compromising data quality. That’s not only good news because we currently discard way too many batteries, but also because sensor owners no longer have to carry out expensive and sometimes dangerous battery replacements!
