EWS-VEH

FAQ
How long do VEH devices last?
VEH devices are designed for long-term operation. By harvesting energy from machine vibration and using a small battery only for keep-alive and emergencies, routine battery replacement is largely eliminated, enabling 10+ year, low-intervention operation.
Why LoRa?
LoRa enables long-range, low-power wireless communication that scales well across large industrial sites with a limited number of gateways. It allows MEMSYS sensors to transmit condition data reliably while minimizing energy consumption, making it a strong fit for both battery-powered and vibration-powered deployments.
Do you support hazardous areas?
MEMSYS products are designed with hazardous-area deployment in mind. ATEX certification is planned across the portfolio, with EWS-B expected by the end of 2026 and EWS-VEH following in 2027.
What assets are supported?
MEMSYS sensors are designed for rotating equipment such as electric motors, pumps, fans, blowers, gearboxes, agitators, and similar assets commonly monitored using vibration and temperature.
Can I keep my existing analytics stack?
Yes, MEMSYS sensors route data through the MEMSYS backend, where it can be forwarded to your existing condition monitoring and analytics platforms. An on-site deployment option is also available, allowing all data to remain within your own infrastructure if required.
