Today we are celebrating World Engineering Day here at MEMSYS!
4th of March 2025 marks the sixth annual World Engineering Day, a concept initiated by WFEO and since 2020 co-organized by UNESCO, a date dedicated to highlighting engineer’s achievements and how engineering can change the world for the better.
This year’s theme is ‘Shaping a Sustainable Future Through Engineering’ and it’s a great opportunity to promote engineering as a career, especially for girls and women, engage the wider community and empower people to contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At MEMSYS, we are doing our part – our mission is to unlock a renewable, reliable, and durable energy source- eliminating the need for disposable batteries. Our work contributes to several SDGs:
SDG7-Clean Energy, SDG8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG9- Industry, SDG12- Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG13- Climate Action.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we are organizing a series of articles called “MEMSYS’ Engineering Fundamentals”, that will educate our audience about fundamental concepts and approaches helping them understand the significance of this new technology and its applications.
