We are a young DeepTech start-up based in YES!Delft that develops kinetic energy harvesting technology and self-powered sensors for industrial applications. We have the audaciously ambitious goal of powering a billion devices by 2040: eliminating the waste of billions of batteries. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and experienced embedded hardware engineer to help us develop ultra-low power IoT (Internet of Things) systems.

- Work with the embedded team to develop the functional specs, technical specs, and system architecture of the sensor products.
- Selecting, analyzing, and testing MCU’s, storage, sensors, communication and power management subsystems.
- Design of subsystem circuits and creating schematics.
- PCB design, routing, and ordering.
- Developing and carrying out PCB analysis and testing plans.

- An experienced embedded hardware engineer that likes to work in a multidisciplinary team (embedded, mechanical, software, data science).
- Excited about pushing the boundaries of IoT with cutting-edge energy harvesting technology.
- A hands-on problem solver who enjoys working directly with hardware, tackling practical challenges, and finding innovative solutions through prototyping and experimentation.
- Somebody who is eager to embrace the adventure, takes ownership of the work and shares our good vibes.
👩💻 Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Embedded Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- You have knowledge of C and understand how software processes in embedded systems work and the associated Hardware interaction
- You have experience in developing and prototyping electronics in which a microcontroller/processor is central
- Broad experience in PCB design using KiCad or similar
- Prior experience with one or multiple of the following topics is strongly desired: cellular IoT modems and low-power networking technology standards, GNSS tracking systems, security, on-edge data processing and storage, energy harvesting systems, EMC testing, CE certification.
- Available on a full-time basis & able to commute to our HQ in YES!Delft.
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.
